The process of family reunification for refugees is costly and lengthy, with reunifications failing at the last hurdle because of the financial cost. We greatly admire Art for Change, who are hosting a Fundraising Art Sale on Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th November to support the Auckland Refugee Family Trust. ARFT is intent on ensuring that refugees who have been approved for emigration to New Zealand are not prevented from being able to join their families because of a lack of travel funds. Come along between 10.00am and 4.00pm both days to view and purchase your special artwork in support of Art for Change and the Auckland Refugee Family Trust. For more information and a taste of the art you can purchase, visit here.

Coffee with a Cop will be here on Thursday 22nd November from 10.00am to 12.00noon. Pop in and have a chat to our local Community Police Officer, they would love to meet you and talk about what is going on in your neighbourhood.
